Steel Strong Community Federal Credit Union is excited to share that we are now accepting applications for a Full‑Time Member Service Representative. This position will support both our West Mifflin and Elizabeth branches.
We’re looking for a motivated, friendly individual who enjoys helping members, can multitask in a fast‑paced environment, and is interested in growing with our credit union. Responsibilities include assisting members in person and by phone, processing financial transactions, maintaining a balanced cash drawer, and supporting daily branch operations. Cash‑handling or marketing experience is helpful but not required.

Celebrating Sandy’s 43 Years of Service
Steel Strong Community FCU is honored to celebrate a milestone that few organizations ever experience: the retirement of our long‑time CEO, Sandy Abels, after an extraordinary 43 years of dedicated service.
For more than four decades, Sandy has been a steady, trusted presence for our members and our team. Her leadership, deep industry knowledge, and unwavering commitment to Steel Strong's mission have shaped our credit union in meaningful and lasting ways. Her influence can be felt in the relationships she's built, the culture she's nurtured, and the countless members she has supported throughout her career.
As we celebrate Sandy's remarkable legacy, we are pleased to announce that Denise has stepped into the role of CEO. Denise brings strong operational expertise, a collaborative leadership style, and a clear vision for Steel Strong's future. We now have an ATM at our Elizabeth office, giving you two convenient locations to withdraw cash. Unlike the ATM at Irvin Works, this one does nto accept cash deposits.
Non-members may use the ATM for a small $2.50 fee.
